Sooooo…this takes place after Percy's second quest (Sea of Monsters) and one night, everyone was sitting at the campfire with no stories to tell. Finally, a new camper suggests that the tell stories of successful quests. Of course, everyone wants to get a good story of what happened on Percy's first quest. Then out of nowhere, the gods appear…. What the Hades?

All around the campfire, campers whispered among themselves because they had nothing better to do.

There it had only been an hour of songs and dancing until the Apollo campers had nothing to play anymore. No one had stories, not even the Stoll Brothers. Chiron was just about to announce that everyone could head back to their cabins, until a new camper, an 8 year old Demeter kid, stood up.

"Mr. Chiron?" she said in a cute voice, showing off her two missing front teeth. "Can we listen to a story about a Quest?"

Chiron scratched his beard. "I suppose we can. Only if the storyteller wants to."

"Then who's the storyteller?"

Everyone's eyes turned to Percy.

"What?" he asked. "I'm not good at storytelling. I'll jack everything up!"

"I think we can help with that," a man's voice said.

Everyone turned their heads and gasped. Standing there were the 12 Olympian Gods and Hades.

"Wait," Annabeth said, "With all due respect, why are you all here?"

Apollo grinned and said,"For story time, of course."

At Lord Apollo's feet, there was a bright light. When it died down, there were 5 books stacked on top of each other.

He picked up the first book and read the title.

"The Lightning Thief," Apollo read aloud.

Percy groaned.

"It's about me, isn't it?" he asked miserably.

"Yup!" Apollo said cheerfully.

"Your thoughts can't be that bad…..can they?" Annabeth said.

"Well…..we're about to find out," Hermes said.

"I am getting agitated. Can you get on with it?" asked an annoyed Zeus.

"Fine! Alright. I am going to read first," Apollo said, sitting next to his kids.

The rest of the gods followed his example and sat with their kids.

Life could be worse…..but for Percy…let's just say that he isn't a lucky guy. After all, they were getting ready to hear his thoughts. Everyone else was happy, getting to pick on Percy, especially a certain set of brothers.

The Stolls were totally prepared for this. It would be awesome to poke at Percy.

"Everyone ready?" Apollo asked.

No one said anything, so the sun god proceeded to read the title of the first chapter.
