Ok...I'm in a bit of writer's block for After the Ring and Harry Jackson and the Wardrobe and Breaking Dawn, so here's a thing I'm writing during my writer's block. It's really AU.

"Harry!" the girl at the front desk called. When she heard no response she called again, louder, "HARRY! GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!"

No response. But a girl with curly brown hair walked into the room. The girl at the desk rolled her eyes.

"What now, Hermione?"

The brunette looked slightly offended.

"Are you all right, Ginny?"

"What do you think? I need Harry to sign this contract. But he's ignoring me!" she said angrily.

"Ginny," Hermione said slowly, as if she was talking to a five year old, "Harry's out in an argument with Draco Malfoy from the police station across the road. They both have decided that there only needs to be one police station in town. So either him or us is leaving town."

Ginny snorted.

"The way you say it, we could be in one of those crazy old western movies! Can you say that in plain English?"

"Draco Malfoy wants to shut down our police station. We want to shut down his. Basically, there's going to be a court case about whose is better. So either we win, and he gets shut down, or he wins, and we all lose our jobs."

"Seriously?" Ginny said in disbelief, "There can't just be two police stations?"

"Apparently not."

"Apparently not what?" a red haired man said as he walked in.

"Ron!" Hermione cried out, and threw her arms around his neck.

"Oh, great," Ginny said in a bored tone, "Here we go again."

She put her fingers in her ears and hummed to block out the noise.

"Hello? What's going on in here?" Harry said in a tone of shock, as he had walked in his door to see his officers kissing in the front office, and his secretary with her ears plugged and singing "Lalalalalalalalalala!".

Ron and Hermione broke apart, blushing.

"Oh, uh, hello Harry," Hermione said.

Ron poked Ginny. And whispered in her ear:

"Sis, you can stop now."

"What?" she asked, and opened her eyes to see her boss looking at her disapprovingly, "Oh, uh, sorry everyone."

"I can't believe that Draco Malfoy guy!" Harry said, cutting to the chase right away, "He thinks he can just strut in here, and get us all out of a job? What is with that guy?"

"He is rich though," Hermione said softly, "And the people really like his services."

"Whatever! We've been here for longer than he has, and he just wants to waltz into town, and take all of our business! It's not right, and I will not stand for it AT ALL!"

Hermione shrunk back.

"Hey, it's all right Harry. We can beat him if this goes to court," Ron said comfortingly.

"That's just it! This is going to court! And guess who the judge is."

Ginny's eyes widened.

"No, it couldn't be," she whispered.

"Oh yes it could," Harry said.

Ron looked lost.

"Wait, what are we talking about?"

Harry turned on him.

"Honestly, Ron, sometimes I can't believe that you are a cop! Seriously, do you really have no idea what we're talking about?"

Ron looked ashamed.

"Not really," he mumbled.

"It's all right, Ron," Hermione said, "What I think Harry is saying, is that, um, well…"

"Our judge is going to be Dolores Umbridge."

The words fell like a thud.

Ok...I know it's not great...but will you please be nice enough to review? Reviews make me happy. And I'm willing to take suggestions for later chapters...just review please.

Love,
