AN: Hello peoples, another oneshot. Please review once you get to the end! Iggy will give you some scones if you do! And he will if you don't...so that might not be the best incentive. How about Al gives you a free "hero" coupon, usable whenever you need a hero. Anyway, enjoy!

US/UK or US/Britannia Angel

I closed my eyes, and let the darkness engulf me. Swooping, I dove further and further. My toes began to point in the air as my wings curled back. My hands were tucked into my chest, curled together at my heart. I pulled them to my head, fighting the resistance from the wind. Bitterly, icy mist began to spray in my face as I reached the waters edge, sharply turning before I fell into the ocean below. Laughing breathlessly, I immediately rose again. I twisted in the air, curling and jumping.

They didn't understand this exhilarating feeling. They didn't comprehend the way the rush of air and pump of adrenaline made my heart race. Then again, they didn't know I had wings so my cliff diving probably seemed like suicide to those stuffy Parliament members. Only those that knew my secret could join me on the cliffs, watch as I relaxed for once and flew.

And no, not that secret, the personified country one, all of Parliament knows that. I mean the wings, that I am Britannia Angel. Not even the other countries know that, not one. Well, maybe France from back when he stalked me, and my brothers. Frogs and other magic users don't count though! None of the others know. I like it that way. Nobody knows the true me, they only see the façade. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. He doesn't want you to know he exists.

I swooped back to land, a bright smile on my face as I ran to meet my friends, the fey. They swarmed me, giggling and laughing.

"Hello guys, did you come to see me fly?" They nodded excitedly, and my smile grew even wider, "Do you want to come to the world meeting then? I'm supposed to be on my way there now. Ireland is holding it for once," Their tiny nose scrunched up at the mention of my sister. For whatever reason, they have a mutual hate with Ireland's fairy companions. "Is that a no then?" They shook their heads wildly, not wanting to be left alone for a week in my large empty manor by the sea. "Okay then, come along." We began to walk back to the house then, to get the car.

Taking one last look at the cliffs though, I couldn't help but feel them beckoning to me, "One last dive, one last flight. One last burst of freedom before that stifling meeting room with that obnoxious frog and having to hide your affections from America. Just one more." I answered it, waving to the fey to join me. The meeting could wait.

England didn't see a rustle in the bushes, blue startled eyes peering out, studying the silky cream wings. He saw England jump, and by instinct moved to stop him before retreating back into the bushes. His Iggy didn't need a hero apparently he could save himself. Slowly the eyes backed away, having seen enough, having given the owner hundreds of questions and realizations. Those could be saved for later. For now, he had a meeting to get to.
