Hey guys, I tried to write down another scene produced by my restless brain and its Kataang addiction. I really can't let them go; there hasn't been any day since the TV show on which I haven't thought about them. Every little situation has to replay in my mind, may it be EIP or the finale or the invasion...

Ok, enough of my crazy thoughts! This oneshot takes place directly after the Day of Black Sun Part II, when they fly away to the Western Air Temple, followed by Azula and Zuko. It's short again, I know. I'd be happy if you read and also review! ^_^

Disclaim: I do not own Avatar - The Last Airbender

When they were flying away on Appa, flying away from the invasion and its victims, it was quiet; even Sokka didn't talk. First, Katara could hear everyone's anxious breaths, then, after they'd been up in the air for a while, almost nothing. Teo sighed sometimes and looked at his feet, the others were just staring into the clouds.

Katara slowly and carefully climbed on Appa's head down to Aang who suddenly looked up, very surprised. The girl took place next to him, avoiding to touch him accidentally. He turned his head again straight, but he couldn't hide his hurtful and shameful, yet disappointed glances yet.

"Aang?" she whispered and he could tell by the tone of her voice that she knew what he felt. She always knew.

"Yeah?". His voice was slightly shaking.

"It's not your fault. I know you'll get another chance. I know you will."

Aang didn't answer. He could barely think or talk in a normal way. Katara recognized and understood it and so, she opened her mouth again.

"You can do this, Aang." She smiled at him, and by the way she did Aang somehow came to the idea that her last words could also mean something about the kiss earlier that day.

He didn't know about her feelings yet and she didn't seem to give him any sign soon, but he suddenly really understood her words.

He could do this.

A/N: "He could do this." This isn't only meant for defeating the firelord, you know? I bet you do.
