'This is Russia we're talking about…' China spoke to himself quietly, noticing as people began to take photos of him for what felt like the millionth time today. He was feeling energetic, so he thought to entertain by striking a pose as the cameras flashed. "Hey there~" Winking at the now smaller crowd, a slight smirk tugged at his lips. The cameras stopped flashing, and the crowd left him be for the time being. He sighed in relief, glad to be left alone. He moved himself from the pose, slipping as he did so. 'No no no no!' he screamed inside his head, desperately trying to regain his balance. He braced for the cold smack of ice on his back, but only found himself being embraced by a large, warm body.

"You should be more careful, sunflower." The thick Russian accent rolled off his tongue, leaving an already surprised Yao speechless.

"Shì de, you're right, aru.." He spoke calmly, looking up to meet the ecstatic violet eyes of a certain Russian man. "I hope I didn't alarm you Ivan, aru…" Yao looked back down, gaze meeting the ice he should've landed on. Feeling the embarrassment crash into him, his face began heating up, a deep blush overcoming him. Russia just smiled.

"Don't worry, da?" A slight giggle to his voice, Ivan snuggled close to a crimson Yao. "I just don't want to see my little Yao-Yao getting hurt…" A soft kiss was planted on Yao's cheek, as the Russian began to blush along with him.

"Y-your Yao-Yao?" Yao's voice had risen; brushing off the nickname he had been given.

"Da…mine." Ivan beamed, Yao turning in the embrace for their eyes to meet. They were both blushing now. Some other countries had taken notice to the moment, now growing in tension. Ivan held tight onto Yao's hands, beginning to skate backwards.

"Let me teach you how to fall." Those were the words that would begin it all. Yao was pulled close, both skating in perfect unison. He was twirled and thrown into the air, he felt…extraordinary. He was on top of the world and he never wanted to come down. Their smiles seemed to light up the room, all eyes were on them. Ivan quickly pulled Yao close, letting their lips fall together. Nations began cheering. They stood together in front of the entire world as one. Out of breath and still high on life, Yao glanced up at the Russian with a laugh.

"Don't call me Yao-Yao, aru."

Later that day, Yao heard Ivan talking to a few of the news reporters that had seen their "performance."

"My sunflower has a great ass, da?"
