Bella's POV

Renesmee had fallen asleep in the main house tonight. Unfortunately that meant Emmett teasing her about her wish for a puppy, and saying "Don't worry about it Nessie! With Jacob's help, one day you'll have 'lots' of puppies!" Leaving him getting smacked by everyone except Renesmee. All of us were now sitting down, Rosalie and Emmett were making out, Carlisle was reading a book, Esme was knitting, Alice was looking at her fashion magazine, Jasper was listening to music, Jacob was reading some book to find out how to get Renesmee to eat broccoli, and Edward and I were looking at his laptop at adds for puppies. Edward all of a sudden stiffened.

"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

"She had a nightmare." Before anyone of us could get up, she was already at the top of the stairs with her bear dangling in her hand. Despite her sad expression, I couldn't help but think how adorable she looked in her pink nightgown with matching bunny slippers.

"What's wrong Nessie?" Carlisle asked sounding very concerned.

"I had a nightmare." She whispered loud enough for us to here.

"Aw, it's alright sweetie." I assured her as I picked her up.

"Jacob?" she said.

"What is it Ness?"

"Can I stay away from the pack for a while?" she asked. Leaving all of us, except Emmett speechless.

"Haha!" he boomed, "I told you that she would think vampires were much cooler than shape shifters!" Edward smacked him in the back of the head for that. We all knew that Nessie loved the pack like a second family, something was very wrong.

"What happened in your nightmare kiddo?" Jasper asked as I carried her and placed her down between Edward and I.

"Well," She began, rubbing one of her eyes with her tiny fist, "Mommy and daddy had bought me a puppy." This could not be could, "So, one day I went to the farmer's market, and my puppy was so lonely without me that he escaped so he could try to find me." She sniffed, "Some super rich guy found him and used a lot of his money so he could clone him." She gulped before continuing, "So there I was at the farmer's market. I went over to a stand to buy some cotton candy. But the cotton candy was ten dollars. So I said 'That's enough to buy my puppy a new toy!' And that was the signal."

"The signal for what?" Esme asked.

"After I said that, thousands upon thousands of puppy began running down the hill towards the farmer's market. Some were even jumping out of the windows! There were so many that they began forming puppy waves, kinda like the unicorn waves from 'The Last Unicorn'!" She began stretching out her arms to emphasize the largeness of the 'puppy waves'.

I began looking around the room for the rest of the family's reaction. Besides from Emmett who was trying hard not to laugh, everyone was dumbstruck.

"Emmett." Nessie looked up at him, "I don't think I will ever like the idea of having 'lots' of puppies." She then lifted her arms up for Jacob to pick her up, "One wolf is good enough for me!" she grinned.

If you were wonding how I could come up with something that random,

it's simple, my little sister told me yesterday that she was going to the farmer's market with a friend.

So I decided as a joke to tell her, "You can't go there! I had a dream about the farmer's market! And guess what, bad things happen there!"

Thus beggining the story about my own puppy escaping to follow her and got into this little adventure. While the ending

I thought was sweet enough to wrap up the story.
