Disclaimer: I do not own glee or any of the characters. If I did there would have been a lot less and Finchel and a lot more Klaine.
"AHHHH" Kurt Hummel yelled running out of his step brother, Finn's room.
"Kurt?" Blaine Anderson called out to his boyfriend as he ran up the stairs after hearing Kurt's yell, only to see him running towards him. As he caught him he asked, "What's wrong did something happen?"
Kurt just started shaking and wrapped his arms tightly around Blaine in response, as Blaine led them into Kurt's room. When they got to Kurt's room Blaine led them to the bed and laid down with Kurt's head resting on his chest. The two of them cuddled for a few minutes while Kurt calmed down. Once Kurt's shaking calmed some Blaine asked again.
"Kurt why did you come running out of Finn's room yelling at the top of your lungs?"
"You know how I hate spiders?" Kurt asked as he cuddled further into Blaine's chest. Blaine nodded in response so that Kurt would continue. "Well I went into Finn's room to see if he wanted any of the cookies that I was making, which are in the oven by the way. Anyway when I went into his room I saw a cage and when I got a closer look I noticed that there was a HUGE tarantula in it. I was a little freaked out but I was ok and turned back to Finn but he saw me looking at that thing and decided that I should get a closer look. He took it out and started coming towards me with it saying I should hold it. That's when I ran out yelling and you know the rest."
By the end of Kurt's story Blaine was trying to resist the urge to go yell at Finn for his carelessness. Kurt had told him not long after they became friends that he was deathly afraid of spiders. He had said that when he was 10 he got locked in a basement with a bunch of spiders that had crawled on him and bitten him. Finn knew all about this and yet he still tried to get Kurt to hold the tarantula.
When Blaine got up to go yell at Finn however Kurt stopped him with a hand on his arm.
"Don't, it doesn't matter. Dad and Carole will take care of it when they get home from work. Besides I have cookies in the oven that need to be eaten." With that they went down got the cookies out of the oven and watched Disney movies until Burt and Carole got home from work.
Just as Kurt had predicted when Burt found out about the tarantula he made Finn get rid of it all the while lecturing him about why those kinds of pets weren't allowed in their house.
As Kurt was drifting off to sleep that night he was happy to know that he wouldn't have to worry about finding another pet like the tarantula in their house again. At least until Finn brought home a snake…
