Author's Note: Written for the episode Parley. It looked like that Kensi was worried for Deeks.

Parley

Deeks, or rather his undercover alias Max Gentry screeched to a halt besides Monica Davis. When he arrived Monica got into a car, but not before the man that was shooting her shot one more time. Deeks drew his weapon out and began shooting making sure that he wouldn't hit anybody and made a getaway.

He wondered what Kensi and the team would think about his undercover job? Did they notice that he wasn't there yet?

Kensi Bly watched as the woman named Monica Davis run down the sidewalk as a man was shooting at her. She nearly got ran over as she crossed the street as the man followed her. Kensi saw a car come out of nowhere and stop besides the woman and saw her get into the car. She was listening to Hetty when she said they lost contact with their man inside.

"Who's that?" She heard Callen say

And then the video was zoomed in and showed Deeks face. She stared at his picture.

"Deeks." She said in shock.

"Not Deeks, Max Gentry" Eric said as he looked at her.

"How long has he been working this?" She said as she looked at Eric and Hetty.

She then heard Nell say that they haven't called in yet. She was definitely worried about Deeks now. There was no way that he would not call in if he could. There had to be something wrong and she hoped that he would be okay.

Finally she heard his voice and of course they started bantering back and forth. She had been worried, but there was no way that she would let him know. She heard Monica come back in and ask Deeks who he was talking to and heard his reply. Then when she started kissing him it almost made her sick and she had to listen to it.

She listened some more and then got out of her car making her way up the pathway to the house. She knocked and heard Deeks telling her that there was somebody at the door. She smiled because it was her who was at the door. She heard Deeks say that Monica was in the bathroom and she heard the dryer.

When they opened the door to the bathroom they found that the dryer was still on, but no Monica. She had slipped out of the window while they had been talking in the living room. They had Eric track her with her cell phone and finally they found her.

Deeks couldn't take it anymore as Monica was hitting Kensi. He knew that Kensi could hold her own, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't back her up. He pointed his gun at Monica.

"Max, what are you doing? Shoot her." He heard her say. There was no way that he would shoot his partner.

"Sorry honey he's with me and his real name is Marty Deeks, he's a cop and he's my partner." He might have smiled at her saying that, but he couldn't do it as they led her away.

She had been putting the wire on Monica when she started talking about Deeks.

"So I got Max Gentry, but you get the real deal. How's that?"

"Deeks is my partner."

"That's it?"

"It's enough."

"Is it?"

It would have to be she thought to herself. That is the only relationship that they could have was a working relationship. They could never have a romantic relationship even if she wanted it. She thought to herself as she shut the door.

It was finally over and they were both glad. Now they could get back to what they normally do.

The End
