Takashi Morinozuka has always been a quiet man. He never seems to have much to say. He just stays in the background and listens. Listens, and waits for his turn to be heard.
While Tamaki and the twins announce their feelings in words, Mori does it in a different way.
Instead of "Haruhi, you look pretty today," he reaches and grabs a tea cup from the top shelf for her.
Instead of "I wish you'd notice me," he stays after and helps Haruhi clean the music room for the day.
And instead of "I love you," he picks her up and keeps her safe from Tamaki and the twins fighting.
He knows she doesn't hear the words behind his actions. But he can't help but hope, one day she will.
