I was born to meet you
Those words have echoed
Within me from the moment
I was brought into this world
How I have longed for the day
When I could finally say
These words to you
To look into your gentle eyes
To see your angelic smile
To thread my fingers through your hair
To hold you close in my warm embrace
To whisper softly in your ear
I was born to meet you
You are the reason for my existence
You are my whole world
For I was born to meet you
And I hope to hear these same words from you
How happy it would make me
If you said these same words to me
I long to hear the sound of your sweet voice
As you speak softly
