She fucks Finn and it means nothing, but it kind of sucks to hear the words out loud, especially coming from his stupid, devirginized mouth. She's pissed and also kind of hungry so she makes him take her to Denny's and then dismisses him with a curt, you can go now, before pulling out her cell phone and speed dialing Puck.

"What do you want?" he asks in lieu of a greeting. She can hear the irritation in his voice but she doesn't really care because she needs someone to pick her up and her dad's not an option.

"A ride, meet me at Denny's in forty-five." It's not a question.

"Can't," he sighs, adding quickly, "You know why."

Quinn.

She rolls her eyes even though he's not there to see her. This 'being a responsible baby-daddy' thing is seriously putting a hurt on her extra curriculars and she's getting a little tired of it. She gets it, she does, because she was there when his dad walked out but it's not like Quinn's going to keep the kid. There's no happily-ever-after in the works for those two.

"Just put a plate of bacon in front of her and get your ass over here."

He laughs and she thinks that's probably a good sign. "So who'd you fuck?"

It's kind of scary how well he knows her routine, knows she only goes to Denny's when she's craving post-sex cheeseburgers. She'd be pissed that he has the audacity to ask when he's obviously sitting at home knitting sweaters with Quinn if it weren't for the sound of key's jingling on his end of the line. She's kind of just glad she's not going to have to find another way home.

"Does it matter?" She doesn't mean to hold her breath but she does.

"No, not really, but if this is going to become a thing—"

"It's not," she snaps because there's a mild ache in the pit of her stomach that she refuses to acknowledge as anything other than starvation.

"Just a one time deal, right?"

She sighs because he's making this way more difficult than it has to be. "Yeah, are you coming or what?"
