"Christi! Please! Talk to me!" Amber tried, but it was no use. The way her friend looked at her with a stare that could have destroyed her heart, her mind, and finally, her will. And the smirk that was plastered on the young girl's face was a smirk full of the betrayal she thought she had endured during their friendship together.
"I'm afraid she can't hear you," answers Queen Beryl with a tone of great triumph and victory. "She belongs to the Nega-verse now."
"SHUT UP, YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING, ANNOYING, AND STUPID QUEEN!" Amber screamed at the top of her lungs. "SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND AND YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!"
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." Queen Beryl answers maliciously.
"No…"
Christi just stood there staring blankly at the gang, her smirk completely gone and there was only a face of determination left. Amber fell down on her knees and at the same time, she could feel her breath quickening and her heart beating a little slower by the minute. No…there was no way Christi could…
"Christi, why betray us?" Rei, known as Sailor Mars, asks of the African American girl as she began to approach her. "We've known Amber for a short while and she says that you and her have been friends for a long time! You should be able to remember your friendship-!"
"SHUT UP, YOU SAILOR MARS LOSER!" Christi suddenly shouts and shoots Rei with a purple beam that knocks Rei against the walls of the cave. Everyone looked shocked as they turned from Christi slowly to Rei. Sailor Moon quickly ran to where Sailor Mars was and inspected her.
"Rei, are you alright?" asks Sailor Moon urgently.
"Be careful…the energy beam…she fired…can do some real damage…" Rei said weakly as she coughed up blood. Amber looked at Rei and the information sank in. Christi, sweet, kind, innocent Christi…had almost killed an ally.
"That's it!"
Amber looks to see Sailor Jupiter get up next. "No matter if she's friend or foe, no one attacks my friends like that! Jupiter Thunder!" The antenna went up on Sailor Jupiter's head as the lightning crackled and was sent in a ball towards Christi.
The next thing heard was a loud crash and what was seen was nothing but smoke and flying rocks.
A few minutes past by before they heard laughter.
"Not even close. Let me show you what thunder is like!" Suddenly, there was a bright sphere sent directly towards Jupiter, and she was soon in the same condition as Rei. Needless to say, the same was done to Mercury, Venus, and Amber. Sailor Moon, Serena, was the only one left standing.
"On behalf of the Moon, I'll punish you!"
"Go ahead and try! You sure can talk a good game, but let's see if you're any good at playing!"
"I'll show you playing!" Serena said as she sent her most powerful attack Christi's way. But, for some strange reason, the attack didn't faze her!
"W…What's…" Serena wondered as Queen Beryl laughed once more. Amber struggled to get up angrily as she heard the sound of that sickening woman's voice. If she ever got to her…!
"I'll tell you why, Sailor Moon! I created this warrior with outstanding abilities past your own! She can even defend against your attacks and not come out with a single scratch! And she obeys me and only me! Now, Christi, finish them off!"
"Yes, Queen Beryl." Christi said with an evil smirk and walked over with two dark and powerful energy beams to finish them off…
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
Amber woke up with a start as her whole body was shaking with fear.
"I hope that was a dream…I really do…" Amber stated to herself as she laid back down to go to sleep.
