"Eldarion!"
The prince fought his way towards the distant, muffled call. He didn't want to abandon the tactical advantage offered by the trees, but he couldn't leave his friend to the mercies of those cruel beasts.
"'Darion!" Elboron's voice was hoarser this time. Eldarion swung his sword frantically, struggling to move faster.
"'Darion, we're going to be late!" Elboron motioned towards the Keep.
"Not too late, I think." The crown prince emerged before his friend, handily dispatching his tormentor.
"Come on, Father said that Master Legolas would be giving archery lessons today." Swiping at another bee, the boys ran home.
