The Battle of New York is a topic that every bard has spoken of and that all in the Marvel Universe know of, but what actually happened to Thor and Loki after this event has remained shrouded in mystery. Here lies the uncovered truth:
Captain George Stacy, being the outstanding member of the police force that he was, partook in the fight against the Chitauri invasion. When all was said and done he came across Thor and Loki in a heated argument. What they were arguing about he did not care. Captain Stacy looked at Loki and realized the reason for this poor boy's actions. He was not raised properly. Captain Stacy decided to take it upon himself to right this wrong. He officially adopted both Thor and Loki and took them home. The Asgardians were most grateful for this hospitality and loved their new family. Their little sister, Gwen, thought they were weird at first, but she soon came to adore her older brothers. They promised that they would never let anything bad happen to her. And unlike her boyfriend, they thought the best kind of promises are the ones that you keep.
