Hey guys! This is a random one shot because i found random rare inspiration. This is written for the lovely Charlie Weasley and Hermione Granger. Please enjoy and R&R
It was a lovely blue-skied day and Hermione was sitting in her favorite tree. She had one of her favorite muggle encyclopedias with her. Today it was stars and astronomy. It made her think back to Hogwarts and the astronomy tower and the view she would see if she was at the very top and looking out at midnight. It was a beautiful thought and Hermione drifted with it, allowing her mind to wonder to the memory.
'Moine! Hermione!' she heard her name shouted and sighed. She knew the peace wouldn't last. She needed a new spot, she thought. Everyone knew where to find her lately. Maybe she should borrow Harry's cloak? Or just get a new hiding place.
'I know where you are Granger!' the voice bellowede. Definitely a Weasley she thought to herself but which one this time?
'Moine! Stop reading all that silly fiction crap and get your arse down this tree.'
'SILLY FICTION CRAP!' she screamed. 'How can you call it that when you never read anything of any use?' she knew that no matter what Weasley brother it was this statement was relevant.
She looked down to see the red headed man chuckle at her outburst and started to climb the tree with ease. Charlie she thought and smiled. She couldn't understand the smile but it just fitted, glad it wasn't any other Weasley.
He sat next to her and turned to face her. She swiftly looked down trying to hide her blush. 'well? What made up crap are you reading this time?' he asked.
'Actually if you care to look closer it is a non-fiction book. I prefer knowledge to your lovey dovey romance stuff that you boys think us girls read.'
'Alright Mione! Keep your hair on! But why don't you like romance? Maybe I can convince you?' He suggestively raised his eyebrows and licked his lips. Hermione couldn't help but laugh.
'Charlie Weasley! Step away or in this case shuffle away from me now! You are not laying one finger on me.' she motioned with her hand for him to shuffle back, reinforcing what she just said.
He looked at her with a mock shock face. 'Who said anything about touching you? I was merely going to use my charming ways to persuade you into falling for me.' he winked this time and Hermione felt like a giddy love sick child. Pull yourself together she scolded herself internally.
'I am as smart as I look thank you and you will not fool me. I will not fall in love with you. I just put up with you for the benefit of Molly. Shes treated me well so I will treat her family well'
'Hermione I am hurt! How could you say that to me? Don't you care at all?' he paused and she looked up at him expectantly. He continued now he knew he had her attention.
'I know you like me. I've frequently seen the blush that rivals a Weasley's I may add, travel up your cheeks when you're with me. In fact you are doing it now and you don't even know it.' he said it all matter-of-factly, with a strictness in his voice that Hermione liked.
'I can also feel your heart beating much faster than it should and through this entire conversation you have slowly moved close enough for me to do this…'
And with that he planted a swift yet delicate kiss on her plumped pink lips. She felt his passion and desire and she gave it all back. She wanted this, needed this and all along she didn't know. As her brain went off on its own tangent he pulled away and left the tree before she could say anything leaving her confused and flustered. Hermione hated being confused. She didn't like it one bit but she liked what he did to her. Oh dear… she groaned internally.
