So this is my very first story, so please bear with me. I know this scene has been done and re-done before, but hey I thought I'd write my own version. Also, English isn't my native language, so that's why some things may not sound very "English" or natural to you... PLEASE some feedback would really be lovely! :) Hope you enjoy!

What's Left Unsaid

Oh how proud I am of you.

I never told you that enough. I realize that now...Funny how things are so clear when you are dying.

I can hear the blazing of lightsabers. I can see flashes of blue and red. I can feel your fear and your anger...Don't be angry Padawan. Don't be afraid. Be calm, the calm eye of the storm.

Yet as I think this, I hear a clatter, vaguely see a body fall down the shaft. No! Not my Padawan, it can't be...

A surge in the Force, a flash of blue, and the dark, looming figure is gone.

"Master!"

"It's too late." Yes, even as I think it, I realize that even now I will not be able to tell all the things I should have told you.

I am proud of you, my Padawan.

Instead I talk about little Ani. You promise me to teach him. I knew you would. You were always so eager to please your old master. So loyal.

I feel your anguish, and I raise my hand to wipe a tear away. I try, somewhat in vain, to shield you from my pain across the bond.

It is time.

I love you my son.
