Hi um, i'm fairly new author here so well basically I had this idea for this fic and I think this is what is known as a one-shot soo... yeah enjoy and tell me what you think!
Blaine
There I sat, in front of the window staring at the moon thinking about Kurt. The moon was so pretty tonight, it looked almost brighter tonight than usual. Sleep, Blaine, sleep it's late and you're not even in bed. I sorta miss Kurt right now, but I know i'll see him in the morning ugh, that still doesn't help. That's it i'm sending him a text. I grabbed my phone and went through my contacts and pressed on Kurt and wrote him a message.
Wake up, I'm lonely
aannd send.
Kurt's
Today has been probably the best day of my life. Today Blaine kissed me for the first time ever, it was amazing. It felt so right, maybe we are meant to be. It's finally the end of the day, I could just lie in bed and just sleep. I got to my wonderful bed and relaxed ready to close my eyes and sleep. An hour must have passed by but I was still awake staring at the ceiling, thinking about Blaine and I, the feel of his lips on mine, and how I could possibly be in love with him. My head turned as I heard a buzzing vibration coming from my phone on the nightstand. Who could be texting me now? I picked up my phone and read who the text was from, it was Blaine. My heart skipped a beat. I read the text and quickly replied.
I'm actually still awake
Really? You're such a rebel, staying up past your bedtime.
I have no bedtime, I just choose to sleep when I do
Then what's you're reason for now?
...I can't sleep
me neither
why
dunno
Kurt, can you see the moon?
I actually can if I look out the window
Isn't that cool, how we can both see the same thing but be in two different places
yeah I guess so
My phone started ringing Blaine was calling, so naturally I picked it up
"Hi Blaine."
"Hi Kurt."
"So why switch over to call?"
"Because I didn't feel like typing anymore and hearing your voice is nice."
"Okay then, so what about that moon?"
"Yeah, it's really pretty and it kinda feels like a friend to me."
"How?"
"Well, I see it every night, and it's sorta calming to stare at it. Sometimes I talk to it like it's actually listening."
"I guess I see your point."
"Do you think the sun ever gets jealous of the moon?"
"the sun can't feel jealousy."
"yeah but don't you think that it just waits there to light up our days over and over?"
"I don't know."
"Good ol' moon."
"Blaine?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for everything, being there when I needed someone, and helping and understanding me. Now I have more courage than before."
"No problem Kurt."
"Now that I have you There's really no more pain."
"That's sweet, Kurt."
"I know but it's true."
"I think it's time for us to get some sleep."
"definitely."
"Good night moon, good night Kurt."
"Good night, Blaine." Neither of us hung up for maybe a minute then I decided to. I put my phone back on the nightstand, and positioned myself to a comfortable spot on the bed. My eyes went to the window then the beautiful moon outside. "Good night moon," I said as I closed my eyes and drifted into sound sleep.
I hope you liked it It's what I've had stuck in my head ever since the beginning of the week. The inspiration comes from the song 'Good Ol' Moon' by Darren Criss
