Jade and I were best friends. We loved each other, but not like boyfriend/girlfriend love. But Jade got different. She told me a secret and it changed everything. Well here it goes.
Jade and I were walking around and she told me a secret. She had feelings for a troll. I asked her what troll. She told me Karkat. I was astonished. I wondered why she had feelings for him. Who would ever have feelings for him? Then I asked her why. "He said something to me the other day that really touched my heart." she explained. I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. I didn't want to believe it because I had feelings for Karkat. I didn't want to believe it because I was jealous. I wanted Karkat, but I knew Jade would get him because Karkat disliked me very much. I decided to pester Karkat.
"What do you want nook-sniffer?" he asked. "I want to ask you if you really love Jade, or in your case, if you really are flushing for Jade. I want to know! Tell me!" I really wanted to know. He didn't reply for some time. Then I got a notification. "I'm flushing for her because she's sweet. I'm flushing for her because she's kind. I would do anything for her. I love her. But she will never love me back." He actually expressed his feelings. He really loves her. Now I really know I have no chance with him. He really loves her. "Why do you want to know John human?"
"I wanted to know because I was jealous."
"What are you jealous of? It's a pathetic relationship because she will never love me back."
"I'm… I'm…"
"YOU'RE WHAT? SPIT IT OUT FUCK-ASS!"
"I LOVE YOU KARKAT!" There was no reply after that. Karkat went off-line. I think it just got really awkward. Kind of just an awkward love triangle but I don't love Jade. I felt so rejected. It crushed me to know that Karkat would never love me back. Why did it have to be this way? No more loving Karkat, I need to get over him.
