Hey guys, it's me Samhain! Here's another story for ya, i think it's my 5th one! So yay! Here's a little drabble that came to me while i was thinking about what's gonna happen in High School (I'm starting in a month so i'm scared).

Enjoy! ^_^

Chapter 1: Letter

I am Fionna. I am a 17 year old, blond haired, blue eyed adventuress who goes to a boarding school on the paradise island, Aaa. I live in a dorm with my sister Cake and an emotionless Beemo. Cake and I got shipped here when our parents died 6 years ago. We've been together forever since.

I guess you can say I live as normal a life as live in student can get. Welcome to Love Me Once.

'Oh, there he is!' I thought nervously as Flame Prince walked by. His red hair blew fiery in the soft breeze and glowing sun that caused his skin to radiate a nice tan color.

He nodded in my direction and I waved to him, trying desperately to hide the nervousness in my chest.
Once safely hearing distance away, Cake said, "Ahh! He nodded to you! That's the first step!" I sighed and sat daydreaming for a while before answering her.

"I hope you're right," I muttered. "I think I'm in love with that guy."

"Aww, that's so cute!" She said grabbing my arm. "Come on, we gotta go to class. We can fangirl more there!"

*Later*

"I heard he's into you," Cake squealed delightfully as we made our way back to our dorms.

"I doubt it, I'm a grade younger than him," I said pouting at our grade difference.

"But he's our age! He just started school early so it's okay!" Cake consoled. "Plus, Chrome is two or more years older than me and we're perfectly fine together."

"But he's so globbing smart and confident and so perfect and I'm so...not," I said landing face first onto my bed.

"No one's perfect, Fi. I thought you figured that out already," she said dumping the contents of her schoolbag on her bed, rummaging through them. "You just gotta be yourself to reel 'em in like fish, ya don't need any bait."

I groaned into my pillow and sighed as I yanked out my homework. "I don't understand any of this!"

"What? The math?" Cake asked looking up from her paper cluttered lap.

"That too," I whispered.

*The Next Day*

I opened my locker before school, the annoying click that always solidified the fact that I was trapped living in a hellhole. A small folded paper fell out, landing at my black shoed feet with a soft tap. I studied it. When did I ever fold up a paper?

I picked it up warily, carefully unfolding the paper until with was the size of my palm. Handwriting was sloppily written across the small paper, the edges burnt a dark brown color, giving the paper a faded vintage look.

'Meet me at the courtyard at 4,' the paper read. Instead of a name, there was only a pit of fire. Poorly drawn fire at that.

'The courtyard at 4, huh?' I thought as I refolded the paper and stuffed it into my school uniform. 'Who could it be from?'

I thought about anyone liking me, the idea was kinda absurd. After all, no guy wants to go out with a girl that's more of a man than they are. It made them seem insignificant, feminine. It stripped away his pride.

Ooh! Who could it be? I mean, if ya don't know you're kinda dense. I put several clues.

So there's no confusion, this is AU, meaning, everyone's human, or at least that's the universe this is in.

Sorry if this is short, i'm kinda terrible at first chapters!

Peace out my undead minions!
