The Singing Towers
River was sitting in her prison cell reading her past entries of her TARDIS dairy. As she sits there and reads, she hears the wonderful sounds of the TARDIS.
"Hello sweetie" she saids to her amazing boyfriend The Doctor. "You got a new suit and a haircut, what's the special occasion. He stares at her with happiness in his eyes. "To a wonderful place for our wonderful date. He opens her cell with his sonic screwdriver and the alarms goes off.
"Come along River" they ran to the TARDIS and went off. The Doctor rounding the consol and hitting random buttons and River smirking and hitting the right ones. "So where are we going this time my love" "I don't know but somewhere amazing. As the TARDIS lands they both said their thanks to her and ran off.
"Wow were in New York" The doctor said all childlike. "I haven't been here sense I was a child" River said.
As River and the Doctor walk through the cool air of the morning , they see a nice little coffee shop. "oh Doctor can we get breakfast, I'm so starving" River begged. "Sure honey why not"
As they sat and chatted, they see a big shadow of what looked like an air plane. And then all of the sudden they hear a big BOOM!. "OH MY GOD" they hear outside.
"Doctor what year did you say you took us" River said "I didn't" The Doctor said sadly. The Doctor and River ran out the coffee shop and saw a tall use burning building. "The Doctor you took use to September…" She was cut off by the Doctor saying "September 11th 2001 at 8:45" "Doctor that means the next one will hit in 18 minutes" River said. "I know" he said sadly.
River and the Doctor walked back to the TARDIS on that hill they landed her on and stood and stared at the City of New York and the people who ran away from the smoke and the flames. "Why aren't you down there trying to stop it" River said in angry tears. "Because River it's a Fix point, I can't save everyone" The Doctor said very meanly.
"This is the worse date ever" River said. "Yes I know, I'm so sorry" He said with tears running down his face. They just stood there and watched as the Towers sang to them with the screams of people.
