An iCarly Oneshot

Three knocks on her bedroom door awoke Carly from her thoughts.

"Come in!"

She was sitting cross-legged on her bed, he noticed, with a half-full basket of laundry in front of her and a towel laying across her lap. "Hey."

"Oh hey, Gibby." Carly looked down to the white, unfolded towel and began playing with a loose thread.

He stared at her for a few moments. "What's up?"

"Folding laundry," she stated, pointing to her towel.

"Doesn't look like it."

She sighed, picking it up. "Yeah."

He watched as she folded it - corner to corner, hot dog, hamburger - and laid it beside her right leg. "What's up?"

She stared at him inquisitively. "Laundry..."

"No, with you."

"Nothing."

"Really?"

"Mhm," she nodded.

"Sam and Freddie are downstairs."

"Are they?" Try to look surprised. "I had no idea."

He tilted his head and looked at her in the most Gibbyish way. "They told me."

"Oh." She rolled off the bed and began walking towards her TV.

"You don't... like Freddie do you?"

"What? No!"

"Sam...?"

"Ew, gross! She's my best friend!"

He shrugged. "Then why are you jealous?"

She gasped, her eyes widening. "I'm not!" He was staring at her, his eyes boring through to her soul it seemed. She gave up the fight with a final sigh. "Okay so I'm a tiny bit mad they kept it from me for so long."

He smiled in understanding. Carly did have a tendency to spaz out over something as small as that. "I don't blame them,"

"What was that?" she glared.

"Nothing!"

She pressed mute on the television, deciding that was enough Girly Cow for now. "I guess now I know how Sam and Freddie felt."

He took off his shirt, then laid back on her loveseat, rolling his head around to look at her. "What do you mean?"

"Every time I had a boyfriend I just kind of left them. But at least they had each other. And now they really have each other, and I'm alone."

Gibby turned his head to get a better view of her. "I'm here."

Carly smiled. "I guess I have you, then."

"I guess you do."

I uploaded this several months ago, but deleted it within 24 hours (No reviews). But honestly, I'm in too much of a Cibby mood after seeing that new promo. So it'd be really nice if you review, but I suppose I can live without them..

Lots of Love, Ellie!
