Oneshot: Hiccups
Tony was having a small party- not his choice but who was he to argue with Pepper?- and he had most of the Avengers and a friend of his and the Captain's. Or rather the Captains love interest. Acelin was a babysitter for Pepper who had a one year old baby. She was hired by Tony and in the process met and fell in love with Steve Rodgers, also known as Captain America when he was suited up. Tony lifted his glass and gave a toast, "To us, the Avengers." He raised his glass to his lips but didn't drink. Lowering it he looked at Steve, "and to you, Steve, for finally losing your virginity."
Now tony drank from his glass, his friend was a bright red and he stumbled over his words. He and Ace hadn't been together long so they still hadn't become sexual. Giving up Steve took a drink from his cup. Pepper was scolding Tony for his embarrassing statement with her husband giving him a thumbs up behind her back.
*Hic!* Steve's eye bulged when Tony set his eyes on him. "No, not a w-*Hic*-ord." Steve's face took on a pink hue as the men gathered around started to laugh.
"Hold your breath, Steve," Natasha, the only female on the team who went by Black Widow, said sympathetically. So Steve tried. After a minuted he gasped in air and just as he was going to thank her *Hic*.
Pepper came over to him with a cup in her hand. "Try this, it always works for me." Steve accepted it from her and as he drank the horrid liquid he held in the urge to vomit. Taking it away from his lips when he could no longer force himself to drink anymore he waited, all of the avengers did. *Hic*
Damn.
"Drink some water," offered Hawkeye but Thor cut in.
"No, a good thump on the back should do it!"
"Lean upside down while drinking" they all began talking at once.
Ace cut in, "I got this," *Hic* from Steve, she leaned up and gave him a chaste kiss on his cheek. In front of all of the Avengers no less. He was speechless and his face turned a reddish color.
"Well look at that," Natasha said grinning, she found the Captain's embarrassment humorous.
*Hic!* All eyes fell on Tony.
"I've got the man of Iron," Thor announced and Tony paled. Then he ran, the bracelets on his hands light up and as he jumped out of the window to get away from a following Thor his suit attached to him, *Hic*.
Thor followed out the window and Tony yelled, "get away Thor! Stop!"
