Black on Black

A poem I wrote. It's more about Robin than Batman, and I almost put it in the Teen Titans category. But since none of the others are in it, I put it in here. It's about the real reason why he left: Batman was having a secret affair with Catwoman.

Black On Black

They meet in secret, in the dark

And feel that excited spark

And while the woman may feel no shame,

The man feels extreme emotional pain

Because he knows what he's doing is wrong

He can't let her keep singing her song

But she however is content

This is a night she will not resent.

Although they love eachother so

They both know she will soon have to go

For what comes with pleasure and a little pain

Is an almost overwhelming feeling of shame

After some time it is nearly sunrise

And so they both say their goodbyes

He walks away from the place where they started

And feels somewhat heavy-hearted

But he soon forgets almost all about her

When a young boy's voice says, "I know where you were…"

Never again will I look up high

See a bat fly through the sky

And not cry

Aww, poor Robin. Don't you feel sorry for him? sniffle Maybe if you review this, it'll make him feel better! Bye!
