Clare's POV
I'm Clare Edwards 16 years old and deaf. I lost my hearing in a car crash with my sister Darcy. My parents were crashed after losing her both my parents have been very careful with me since both loss. I hate when people find out I'm deaf they look at me as if I were broken but I've learned to just let it go. Finally convinced them to let me go to public school home schooling isn't working for me. I will be attended Degrassi High School they have a great deaf program also more important great English program. I've always wanted to be a writer growing up and reading so much from so many great writers I knew I wanted to be that person to make someone smile like they made me. It's my first day of Degrassi and I'm right now trying to find something to wear I walk over to my closet and see my outfit for today. Black jeans with a flower tank top and gray slip-ons. After I'm done I walk down stairs and see my parents talking they notice me and smile. I smile back and signal
"I'm ready Mom."
"Ok Clare go in to car I'll be right there." I just nod and wave to my dad bye before I walked out the door I grab a white sweater.
After my mom telling me a student is going to help around the school I was mad. I don't need someone babysitting me and to make things worse she tells me I'm walking home great. We finally get to Degrassi.
"Have a good day honey." She signals me I smile and close the car door. I start to walk when I see a boy with a board and my name on it. I walk over to the strange boy and give him a confused look. He mouths something to me all I could think was he doesn't know. I sigh and point at my ears and shrugged my shoulders. For a second he is lost then figures it out to my surprise he signals to me.
"I'm Adam I'm going to be helping you around the school if you want I could just leave you alone."
I giggle and signal
"I'm Clare and it would be nice if you showed me around." He smiles and opens the door for me. After Adam shows me around Degrassi I learn that he is in the same grade as me and I have him for 11th grade advanced English maybe this won't be so bad.
Eli's POV
Stupid Morty( Eli's Hearse) had to break down on me now I have to walk to Degrassi. When I walk into Degrassi I see my partner in crime Adam but not alone but with this girl. Adam spots me and waves me over I walk to him.
"Eli this is Clare." Adam tells me I look over to her and I become ruled by her big blue amazing eyes. All I could think why is my heart racing?
Well this is the first chapter and more to come just say and Ill update (: Also when I write in Italics that means they are signaling eachother.
