There are things that he regrets. Most of it is because he becomes so delaying to the thing that he does not see as his priority. Looking at her, his heart aches so much in pain. Because of him, the bird lost her wings and could never fly again. He is the reason why she ill be forever caged in her grief. But what hurts him more is whenever Simca smiles at him with her warm welcoming smile, the fact that she loves him still despite the fact that she is crippled all her life is like a stab in his conscience. He gently approaches her and sat beside her wheelchair where she held his hands.

"You don't have to do this you know. Your just hurting yourself." he said and Simca understood what he meant. She tilted her head upward and stared at the other air-trekers fly with pride. Her eyes are full of envy. She was envying them for having wings and being free while she her, could never leave this chair for the rest of her life. Ikki noticed it.

"Gomenasai", Simca was awoke form her trance and turned to look at him.

"You have nothing to be sorry about." She simply stated and stuck her tongue out. "It was my choice."

"But-

She silenced him by gripping his hand tighter. Ikki could remember the terrible war between kogurasumaru. Sora and him both wanted to claim there right as the sky king. Both of them defending their regalia and this was the final battle between them. It was when Nike intervened and Kilik took the opportunity to fight Nike to wash his stained dignity when he lost the Gem King Regalia against him. The rain was pouring that time and the other spectators watched most of them anticipating knowing who would be the sky king. Kazu and Ringo defended there sides. The water beats so hard brutally stabbing there skin in such unforgivable murder. The havoc battle for power and supremacy over the AT world would come to an end anytime.

But suddenly, Sora made his move Showing who he really is his speed accelerated and beating up any Genisis who stood before him, he would take no mercy on Ikki. Then Ringo fell. "Ringo!" His scream could be heard as he flew down to save Ringo. Sora on the other hand, took the opportunity to strike him down and so he dived after him with piercing speed. Ikki grasped Ringos hand and when he turned around Sora was mere inches away from him and the blade in AT is going to damage him or kill him. But then, he found himself covered with Simca's blood. She plummeted down with great impact and for a second they all though she died the fall. But it was worst than death. Her leg was shattered and before he knew it, Kilik, like gravity himself, pulled Sora down one more time.

"What you did was right since it is very much like you to save a friend." She smiled at him.

"I'm sorry"

"Is that the only thing that you feel for me Ikki? Being sorry?"

He fringed at the question. But then he lowered his head and shadows form from beneath his eyes when he finally decided to open his mouth to answer her.

"You are my friend and I don't want you hurt"

"Do you love me?" The question was straight and quick. It was easy to understand but hard to answer. He has his heart for his reference but he could not search for it.

"You were, are, and will always be my inspiration."

"And Ringo what is she to you?"

"Simca I'm sorry I just love her during the time of your absence and until now that you returned."

"Then what was the kiss all about? AND WHY DID YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU LOVE ME?"

He was shocked. His eyes widened and his mouth just hung open. It was the first time that he saw Simca show her hurt and it was the first time she saw her so depressed and emotional and the first time her heard her scream in pain and the first time he saw her cry.

"You know you were right. I should not be doing this. It hurts so much."

Without looking back she rolled her chair and left.
