Everything to save him.

My whole life has been to protect him. That has been my only purpose.

But then those aliens came.

It was too close, far too close. He almost died. Could still die, if he stayed with me.

He was always different. All he did was talk silly talk, but it helped. It helped me. And my sanity stayed. My darkness was kept at bay. And I lived.

So I gave him up.

It was the worse thing I've ever done. For longer than I can remember, it felt like someone had clawed out what remained of my heart. But I lived, I lived and pushed through because I knew that somewhere, he was still alive. He was living a better life, a life where my mistakes wouldn't kill him.

And I? I lived on the fringes of darkness, walked the fine line on the edge of insanity, breathed the air of evil. I found the 'real me', the churning blackness hidden deep within, and I gave in.

Because even if it means my own happiness, my own life, I would sacrifice it - and anything else, everything else - to keep White safe.

Silver: I was planning on doing that next!
Boys: Of course you were.
Silver: =/ If you don't stop harassing me, I'll sic Black on you.
Naruto: Who?
Sasuke: The guy she wrote about.
Silver: That one. He's the Minotaur!
Sasuke: So?
Silver: What, don't you believe in the Minotaur? Is it 'cause you're a ninja? Or is it 'cause I like Black better than you?
