The first two chapters of 'Dreads and Devils' set the stage for a Vandread X DMC crossover four short years ago. Unfortunately, that idea faltered even before I could get a good head of steam behind it because I did not remember nor know more than I thought I did about the setting of Vandread that I thought I would. So, that being said, I decided recently to keep those initial chapters of that story to use as the basis for other types of crossovers that could begin there. Popping into the Vandread uni is only one of a myriad number of possible and feasible ideas, and having the protagonist be my DMC OC Aurelius is yet again my mind's path on that design. But, it is not the only one. So, 'Dreads and Devils' will be re-purposed so that only the chapter where it enters the Vandread uni will remain, while the others will become, as mentioned above, the basis for what could possibly happen. Will Aurelius remain the main OC? What new universe could the legacy of Devil May Cry travel to? My friends, that is the best part: the possibilities are limitless…..
