A/N: This story takes place in the marauder's 7th year and is without wormtail just because I hate him. Enjoy!

James woke up to find Sirius looking at him from the other side of the room.

"Finally," Sirius said sighing, "We thought you were already dead. What happened to you last night?"

James suddenly remembered what had happened last night. They were having a small party in the common room so that they could get they're minds off the upcoming NEWT's and final exams for just a few hours. They were having lots of fun so James decided to ask Lily out for the 1000th time. He thought maybe this time she'd agree seeing as she was in a good mood and all but he was utterly wrong. She got even angrier than usual and told James that he was ruining the party for her. After she said that he didn't want to party anymore and he went up to his room to sleep early.

"James is everything all right?" Sirius asked nervously when he didn't get any answer to his first question.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Well then we better get downstairs. Moony's furious with us for waking up so late. We've already missed breakfast."

And with that they headed toward they're first class: potions.

"Soooooo……….Booooooored," moaned James, laying his head on the table. He looked over at Sirius hoping for something entertaining but he didn't find it.

"Tell me about it," Sirius whispered back. He was bored to but he was a little more alert than James.

"Quiet you two!" Remus told them, just loud enough so that they could hear him but no one else, "Don't you think we should listen? After all we do have the potions NEWT soon."

"Eh." James and Sirius said lazily.

James was looking at someone in the front row: Lily. Sirius noticed this and waved his hand in front of James's eyes.

"You seriously have to get over her," He said still trying to pry his eyes away from Lily, "There are like a million other girls in the school that would love to go out with you. All you have to do is stop rejecting them because you want to be with Lily 'cause face it, it's never gonna happen."

Remus started talking again obviously not caring that the other two boys had already moved on to another subject, "Fine if you don't want to listen at least let me listen so that-" He stopped in mid-sentence.

He looked around him and saw that everybody except for him, Sirius, and James where standing perfectly still, some in impossible positions to stand perfectly still in.

"What did you do?!?!" Asked Sirius alarmed at what he saw as well.

"I think I stopped time."
