I've just watched episode 68 of Fairy tail, and I felt compelled to write this story. I know it's not great, but I feel really sorry for Erza and Jellal at the moment, so I wrote this. Hope you like this.
Suddenly, Jellal smiled and turned to Erza. "Oh yeah, It was the colour of your hair." Having said that, Jellal turned around and walked into the cart, happy that he remebered one last thing about Erza.
Erza just stood there motionless, tears welling up in her eyes. "Jellal..."

The sun was rising, a beautiful Scarlet colour to match Erza's hair, but she couldn't tilt her face up to notice. All she could think about was Jellal. Tears streamed down her face.
"The colour of my hair..."
She then remembered that time...

"I am Erza, just plain Erza," Erza answered, a little dissapointed.
"Thats kind of sad," Jellal frowned.
He walked over to her and began stroking her hair.
"What?" Erza said, feeling suddenly very flustered.
"Its a pretty scarlet," he smiled.
"Scarlet..."
"I know! Lets name you 'Erza Scarlet!'" Jellal said triumphantly.
"Scarlet... Erza Scarlet," Erza smiled.

Erza was unable to stop tears from flowing at that memory

Jellal smiled. He was still in the Cart, being transported to the prison. He was glad that he was getting punished for all the crimes which he had committed. Now, it didn't matter if he got his memories back, the punishment would still be the same.
Now that he was alone, he was able to think more about his punishment. Life or Execution? Both meant the same thing-
Never seeing another human again...
Never seeing her again...
Never seeing her pretty scarlet hair again.
A tear rolled down his cheek at that thought.
"Erza..." he whispered.

Erza's head snapped up. She looked around. She was sure she had heard Jellal's voice.
"Don't cry for me..."
"Jellal!" she cried, desperately searching for him.

[Jellal P.O.V.]
I deserve this.
I'm scum, I'm the trash of the earth.
I hurt my friends.
I hurt Erza.
This is my punishment.
"Don't cry for me Erza...
Because I don't deserve your tears," I said aloud
Lahar shouted shut up, but I didn't care. "Erza."

But that didn't stop Erza's tears.
Really short, I know, but it didn't need to be long tbh. My first Fairy tail fanfic, hope you liked it :)
