I told you I would be rewriting me stories and here comes the start of the rewrite of 'Love always gets a happy ending!' :D I will be using the same concept as before, I just want to improve my grammar, spelling and make it more interesting! The first one really sucked and didn't keep the reader's attention; I realized that when I reread it so I apologize for that!

Description: Rima, a maiden from a small village, has finally come of age and must set off for a dashing knight to find her and bring her back but Rima has other plans. Follow Rima in her quest to find the adventure she has been dreaming of.

Prologue

Back in ye' olden days there was a certain custom that all the villages went by, it was fairly simple, when a maiden came of age, that being 18, she would set out on a horse and travel till the first knight of her or any other village found her, she was then to marry that knight and bear his children.

The villages got so accustomed to this custom that they expected every maiden to follow it, mothers would hope for a handsome knight to find and marry their daughters while fathers would hope their daughters got a knight that they thought was worth their hand.

Maidens were raised from a young age with these expectations, so from a young age their mothers would teach them how to be the perfect wife.

On the day of the maiden's departure she would leave with everything from her old life for her new life, she was not to return to her old house once found to retrieve her belongings, it simply was not done. The maiden was also dressed in the finest of clothing on the day of her departure and the whole village would see her off.

Maidens never went against this and only ever hoped to make their families proud, some would wish for the one they love to find them first.

There had been a legend once, a maiden had set out on her journey as any other maiden but when a knight, that was not her true love, found her she was devastated, when she and the knights set up a camp for the night near the ocean, the maiden excused herself and went to the cliff, they say just as she stood on the edge of the cliff her knight ran to her and embraced her, they shared a warm embrace and jumped together, their bodies found holding onto each other for dear life even in death.

But that is not where our story will begin. No, our story will follow in the life of a maiden named Rima Mashiro. The first maiden that did not want to follow the custom of the maidens' and wanted to live an adventure instead of being some house wife.

And so our story begins...
