Behind Blue Eyes
Disclaimer: I Own Nothing But Loopy and the Plotline.
Author's Notes: The Plotline I have to say is only partially mine. My friend Serena gave me the idea for it. Thanks Ser! Plus the Character Luca is another one of my friend's Characters. And one last thing…this was a Homework Assignment for School…Can you believe that?
"Where is she?!" She was supposed to be here and hour ago!" I yelled across the room at my right hand man, Legato. He was not paying attention to me. I slammed my fist down on a table…and then the door open.
"Finally…it took you a while" I growled at the young girl. I looked up to face…Luca. Her green hair shimmered in the low sun and her purple eyes gazed at me with utmost horror.
"Where is She? Where is Loopy?" I asked. She was to be protecting Loopy. The girl just blinked slightly and responded.
"I lost her." Typical…She lost her.
"Knives. I'm right here." said a soft voice as the door opened again. Loopy stood there, her long golden hair fell to the ground in braids. Her violet eyes looked scared.
"I failed Knives…I Failed." Is all she said. She took the chopsticks from her hair. The sharp edges of the simple sticks could easily puncture through her skin. What was she going to do?
"I failed, so I must die. It's the code of the Gung-Ho Guns. So I will follow the rules." She said in a frightful voice. She shook as she lowered the lethal weapon so it hovered over her heart. No…She can't. Wait…She failed. She has to die. Like she said…it was the code.
I looked at the pale face of her. She was so young. 17. She was born and discarded by her parents with not even a name. Loopy the Spirit Conductor. Loopy was a name given to her by my Brother. I used her as nothing more then a tool, I tricked her into thinking I loved her…But why? She was there for you, Let her have another chance…Wait, What are you talking about? Let her die! She Failed! She was of no use to you.
"Knives, I'm sorry." She said, as she raised the weapon and as I watched in Horror she plunged it down. That's it…it was to late…she was going to die! No…NO!
"NO!!" I yelled, not aware I had said it aloud. I loved her…I did…and it was to late…
She looked up into my eyes. Tears flowed down…No Tears...Why now? I don't Cry! Let her die!
"I love you…" I said, still talking aloud…talking to the dead woman I had loved, though hated to admit. I lost her.
"Knives…I love you too." She said, she smiled and moved her hand away. The Chopstick was inches from her heart. I had stopped her…She didn't die. I moved towards her to comfort her. Tears were flowing…don't cry. I'm here…I will never leave you.
Then I heard it…a horrific sound. One Single Gunshot. I gasped as Loopy fell to the floor; Blood pouring down the front of her white clothes. Shot straight through the heart. I turned around to face the man who shot the only one I loved.
"Chapel? Chapel…WHY DID YOU SHOOT HER?" I yelled at the man standing there. I picked up the gun lying next to me on the table and I pointed it at him.
"Like you said before…One must Kill the Spider in Order to Save the Butterfly…She was But a Spider about to kill the butterfly…And I couldn't let that happen" He said as though it was as simple as that.
That's when I did it. I pulled the trigger and shot him. How dare he kill the one I loved…
He will never know…Legato smirked as he watched the dead man on the floor. I killed her, Knives. Can't you see? Chapel shot her only because I was controlling him…She didn't deserve to live…once a Gung-Ho Gun Fails…They Must die…and She failed in her mission. She failed to kill the real Spider. Vash the Stampede…
