Disclaimer: Sanctuary clearly isn't mine. If it were, Helen would be wrapped in a sheet with sex!tousled hair every ep.
A/N: For windandthestars, because I adore her! It's not my best, but I hope you get a chuckle out of it, sweetie.
It was the beginning of yet another long day in the Sanctuary and Henry Foss was hungover. His head was pounding, his mouth tasted like an ashtray, and the light from his computer screen was making him want to kick something cute and fluffy right in it's fuzzy little face. But he figured that's what he gets for letting Kate talk him into going out to a bar the night before. That woman could drink! Who knew?
Skipping his morning ritual e-mail check, he logged onto one of his favorite websites instead, automatically minimizing it when he heard the Big Guy lumbering in behind him carrying a bottle of water and some pain relievers, just waiting for him to whack him upside the head for being so stupid. It never happened.
"How are you feeling?"
Henry winced at the sudden noise and quickly downed the pills in two large swallows, "Like hell."
"Serves you right," his friend grunted with a laugh and clapped him on the shoulder before walking toward the door.
He frowned, "Ha-ha. Very funny."
Sighing, he rubbed a hand over his face and pulled his cellphone out of his pocket, quickly scrolling through all of the texts he'd sent one of his buddies last night. After much deliberation, he finally settled on the perfect one and used his computer's keyboard to copy what the text said. Pressing post, he read it over, and grinned for the first time since waking up. He was already starting to feel better.
God, he loved textsfromlastnight!

She might be able to drink me under a table, but there's one VERY important thing that trumps my manliness being squashed by a 100lbs girl... She's a comic nerd. WIN!
End.
