Loving You- A Oneshot
Based off of 'Wings of the Fallen', which is based off of 'Maximum Ride'
I glanced towards Aries, sucking in my breath slightly. His face was in shadows in the moonlight, and I could barely breath. I felt as though maybe I had something stuck in my throat and hadn't noticed it before now. And my face was red, which was a mark that I was obviously mentally ill, at least.
Because falling for your best friend? Seriously, it just wasn't right. I had known him for how long? This wasn't right. This was weird.
But it was unmistakably there. Stubbornly stuck in my mind like a ringing bell. Something I couldn't shake away. And he had just kissed me. Oh, great. This was not good, because I just couldn't do anything.
"We should probably head back," I muttered, standing up and throwing my wings out to catch the wind. "We don't want to… miss something." Like that was the reason. I sounded like I completely disliked him but how else could I sound when he had just kissed me? Right now, I did kind of dislike him. He had put all these doubts in my head of the fact we were "just friends".
Because we weren't just friends, apparently.
Not anymore.
