"Alexx, I'm telling you. He moved and now he's gone."

"You're just spooked from this case. Dead people don't move." Ryan walked back to the lab, trying to clear his head.

"Ryan, we got a match on the DNA." The screen revealed the same face of the man Ryan saw come back to life.

"Could you print this for me?"

"Yeah, of course." Ryan stared at the picture, his entire walk to the morgue.

"I knew I wasn't crazy!" Alexx looked up from her work.

"What did you find?"

"This is the guy." Alexx read the name and pulled his file.

"Well here' his death certificate. But I can't find a body."

"How could he have just vanished?"

"My staff is trained to watch the dead, not the living."

"So then what happened to him?" Ryan placed his hands on the gurney in front of him. He wiped his hands across his face, in an attempt to clear his mind. "I'm going to see if he was caught leaving on camera." Alexx was already concentrated on her work. When Ryan stepped into the elevator, he was feeling light headed. He pushed the correct button and the doors closed. Ryan's vision went blurry. He grabbed the railing for support. His knees grew weak and he sunk to the floor. His breathing began to slow and his vision grew dark. With one last breath his eyes slid eyes.

Calleigh tapped her foot while she waited for the elevator. The doors finally opened. The first thing she saw was the scattered papers, and then she saw Ryan slumped over with his eyes closed. Before she stepped in, she called for help.

"Ryan! Ryan, can you hear me?" He didn't move a muscle. Her hand flew to his neck, in search of a pulse. Feeling none, she laid him on his back and began CPR. People gathered around and watched in horror as Calleigh tried to revive Ryan.

"What is going on here?" Horatio pushed through the crowd. When he got to the front he gasped. "What happened?" the paramedics burst through and took over for Calleigh. Horatio pulled her to the side. "Calleigh what happened?"

"I don't know. The elevator opened and Ryan was on the floor. H, I couldn't find a heartbeat." Eric, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, wrapped Calleigh in a hug trying to comfort her. Natalia walked up.

"What's with the. . .Oh my God! Ryan!" She pushed through the crowd. She watched helplessly. The paramedics stood and called the time of death. Natalia sank to her knees next to Ryan.

Alexx had just finished an autopsy when Horatio, Eric, Calleigh, and Natalia walked in. Two paramedics pushed a gurney, with a body bag on in, into the room. Alexx noticed how grim everyone looked. She cautiously unzipped the body bag. When Ryan's face was revealed, she dropped her hands.

"Is this some find of joke?" the expression on everyone's face answered her question.
