The Pre-funeral (An Alternative Path)
Hazel stomped out of the living room as her parents tried to stop her. She quickly ran to the car and locked the door before her parents could catch up. She drove the car to the cancer support center and parked behind Augustus's car.
"Hazel Grace" someone said behind her.
"Augustus Waters!" Hazel Grace shouted back with excitement.
Hazel ran up to him but there was a sense of sadness in his face.
"Well, you sure are early," Augustus said trying to smile back.
"What's wrong?" Hazel Grace asked.
"There's no use hiding it so I will just say it out loud, today I will be creating a eulogy for my funeral."
"You're WHAT?!"
"We still have time, how about you help me out a little?" Augustus asked.
"Sure, I'll do whatever you want before we part ways," Hazel said trying to hold back her tears.
Together, they made a eulogy that Hazel is going to present at Augustus's funeral.
