SPYRO'S GREAT ADVENTURE
One bright and sunny day, Spyro and Sparx were excited about going on another adventure. They were packing when Spyro's dad knocked on the door.
"You don't have to pack your things Spyro. You must leave your things here." said Niles. Niles was the oldest of all the dragons. He knew everything about the dragon world. He took care of Spyro when he was a baby. Spyro knew that Niles loved little dragons. So Spyro agreed and left his treasure far behind. And set out on his adventure with Sparx at his side.
Spyro and Sparx have been walking all day now and they were getting tired. They didn't pack food or a drink to cool them down. There was no lake to swim in. All of a sudden a fawn came up to them.
"Hi Elora!" said Spyro. Elora was surprised to see Spyro and Sparx. She could see the tired faces on her two friends.
"What's wrong? You guys look hungry and thirsty." Elora said looking quite worried.
"We are. We've been walking forever. " Sparx said.
"I got something to cheer you up." said Elora.
She whistled and another dragon came flying. Spyro waited until the dragon came down beside Elora.
When the dragon came down it sat beside Elora. Spyro couldn't believe his eyes. This dragon was a girl. She had bright blue eyes, she had a bow on her tail and she was a lovely dragon. She smiled and Spyro and stared strangly at Sparx.
"This is Darla the dragon." Elora introduced. Darla was a nice name for a girl dragon. She continued to smile at Spyro.
"Hello Spyro!" Darla said. Spyro loved her voice. Her voice had a musical sound.
"Hi, Darla!" said Spyro. He felt really nervous when Darla looked at him.
She came closer to Spyro to have a better look at him. And when she saw Sparx she screamed and ran to Elora to hide from Sparx.
"What's wrong?" asked Elora. She spoke to her like she was talking to a little dragon.
"That flying thing with Spyro, it's creepy." Darla said shaking with fright.
"It's okay. It's just my friend Sparx. He's a dragonfly." Spyro assured her.
Darla came closer to see if Sparx was dangerous. Spyro understood how she felt about insects. Darla felt a little bit better when she looked at Sparx.
"I'm sorry if I scared you." said Sparx. Darla said nothing. Elora was gone because she wanted for them to be alone on their adventure.
"We're going to kick some butt,Darla. Would you like to come?" Spyro asked her.
Darla giggled. "Sure, I always wanted to go on an adventure."
So Darla, Sparx and Spyro set out to kick some butt.
When they got to Nasty Gnorc's castle Darla got very scared. Spyro held her close and told her there's nothing to worry about.
"Come in, little dragon." said the guard at the door.
Spyro and the others came into the door and climbed upstairs to see Nasty Gnorc.
"Hello, Spyro. Who's your little friend?" Nasty Gnorc said.
"This is Darla." Spyro said.
NastyGnorc went closer to Spyro and started to grab Darla.
" Let me go! Help me Spyro!" Darla cried.
"Don't worry Darla." Spyro said.
Spyro charged at Nasty Gnorc but that didn't hurt him one bit. So Spyro tried to use his flame and it burnt Nasty Gnorc's hand and he howled in pain and dropped Darla right on Spyro's back.
"Now to get rid of him." Darla said looking at Nasty Gnorc.
Spyro led him to a very dark dungeon and locked him in there.
"You were so brave!" Darla said. Before she was going back to her own world she kissed Spyro.
"Bye Darla! I hope to see you again." said Spyro.
"I'm looking forward to it!" she called back.
So Spyro and Sparx said goodbye and went back to tell Spyro's parents about their wonderful adventure.
