So first fic in a long fucking time. It's short but sweet and I won't do my trademark start with the characters because I am typing this out on my phone and that is waaaaaaaay too much effort. Anywho on with the story that no-one has waited for.
Zoro looked up at the sky and smiled. The sky reminded him of the cook. The stupid, ero cook. Oh how he loved that man. Not that he would ever admit it. To anyone. In fact he had only just admitted it to himself. It had always been there ever since he tried so hard to save Luffy at Arlong park. Loyalty was important to the swords man and that had tied him over. He had fallen in love with the failure of a womaniser.
Zoro wished he didn't love the man. It was an unrequited love. No. He didn't know that as a definite fact. He just just doesn't think a man like Sanji could ever be interested in a guy, especially a guy like him. It didn't matter Zoro didn't do relationships anyway. Before he met Luffy he never stopped in a place for a long while in fact the only people he ever really connected with were Johnny and Yakuso. Romance was just not an option for the life he lead then or now for that matter. How were you suppose to hold down a decent relationship while travelling on a ship. Relationships within the crew could just be disastrous.
Even if Sanji was interested in men and indeed interested in Zoro, he would probably not act on any feelings because of his nature. That and he was a novice in anything lovey dovey. Sex he could do. What just because he didn't stay in one place for long doesn't mean he didn't get any. A man has needs even Zoro. He would not even consider a sexual relationship with the cook. He would get too emotionally attached. He's already in love with the man. He would not let in deepen anymore. Sanji could be waiting for him, naked and ready and Zoro would turn him down. Not without difficulty of course.
The sky did remind him of the man eyes on days like today but the eyes held much more sparkle and passion. It was as if the sky was just a replacement for him.
Zoro was not an unhappy man. He was happy, he loved being in the crew. He would never say it out loud, come on ge had a reputation to keep. He was not bothered if Sanji did not return his love or if he never got into a relationship with the cook. In fact it would just get in the way of his goal. He could just use any potential relationship time to train. He has to get stronger. There's no time for love in his life. Not at least until he completed his goal.
It was then he decided to look down from the sky to see the normality he had become so accustomed to. The younger members were running recklessly around the ship playing some sort of childish game no doubt Luffy made up. Sanji was no where to been seen but a sweet scent in the air told Zoro he was busy in the gallery and with that Zoro looked back up to the blue sky rhat reminded him of the cook he loved.
So this just kind of rambled on a lot. It's hard the look back a read through this on my phone so its probably for of grammar problems but I don't get a shit. What was that, you have a problem with that. Not my problem you people should be reading fics for the intriguing plot lines, not if someone can use the correct verb forms so :P. Peace off.
