Everything seemed to be fitting into place, Project Magnet had seemingly prevented from travelling into the distant past to "fix" the world and preventing global warming and the Albertosaurus slain; The only thing left for Dylan and Evan to do was to return to their natural time and place rather than several million years into the past. Well, as with everything it was "easier said than done", for as "nothing ever goes the way you plan" and the anomaly 'Spaghetti Junction' was beginning to close, leaving them stranded, perhaps forever. What with everything that they had left to face, what with Toby still, to their knowledge, slowly dying from the Brontoscorpio's venom and Mac travelling back into the 2006 anomaly to once more save Evan's life the two of them couldn't afford to become stuck in this time and place.
