Angel watched from behind the stolen camera as Roger reached around and pulled Mark's cheeks upward into a big smile. Mimi was was beside them, laughing as she took the occasional lick of an ice cream cone and Collins had come to stand beside her, one arm wrapped lightly around Angel's waist as the other held an ice cream of his own. Turning around, she set the camera amongst some sturdy, low hanging branches and she led herself and Collins into the view of the lens, just as Maureen and Joanne strolled up. Pointing at the camera she gestured for the girls to hurry up so the picture could be complete.

Many years later when he found himself feeling lost or alone, Mark would pull out that reel of film and watch. He would remember how that very morning he had bitched and moaned about taking a trip to the zoo because he had film to edit but by the end of the day, he'd laughed harder then he had in ages and had created a memory that would last a lifetime.
