Happy New Year's Eve everyone! Geez... This will be my final story/oneshot of 2013... Oh, how the time flies. Anyways, this is based off the original 2003 FMA (which I don't own at all nuh-uh no no no). Hope you enjoy!
Stumbling through the darkness
We blindly call for each other
Sometimes miles apart
Sometimes within inches
We lost our light
Our single
Guiding light
And we are broken
Calling and calling
Searching for our light
We do the unspeakable
And fall deeper into the abyss
From the blackest night
In the darkest pit
We see, against all odds
Our light
Finally we grasp each other's hands
Running
To the
Light
We stumble
Through a strange world
Together
Acting brave despite fear
Sometimes we soar and laugh
Sometimes we stumble and cry
But together we stay
Because we see our light
The closer we come
The tighter we are
Our bond is inseparable
Glued together by hope
Through darkness and shadow
Rain and fire
We find it
And reach
Our hands
Together
Our fingertips
Brushing the warming glow
But we tumble
Into the blackness
Far away
And the light has vanished
All we know is the darkness
Drowning in the sea
Because we never saw our light
It was all just a dream.
So yeah, kind of dark and sad... But how I love darker poetry XD It's also a little cryptic, but if you look closely, you'll probably get the references.
Though I can't rhyme to save my life, so I just write my poems like this. *sigh*
