"I'd never thought it would all come down to this end." Heero said to himself, walking away from the Forum in Los Angeles. "Thank god it's still warm enough out." Heero sat on a bench over-looking the harbor. He sighed and leaned back into the seat as he watched the ships come in. "Storm coming." He said to himself. HE could feel the temperature of the wind changing the air around him. He leaned forward and stared at the concrete below him. "Why did I have to be what I am now..."
("There's a ship out, On the ocean At the mercy of the sea. It's been tossed about lost and broken, Wandering aimlessly.")
He tried to think about what memories he had left before he succumbed
to Doctor J. There's not much there. "I can't even remember what my fucking
parents look like." He cursed, slamming his fist on the wood bench. "I
should have just killed J whe I had a chance. Then it'd be different."

He leaned back again and stared at the stars. The halogen light above him flickered as rain started to come down. Heero closed his eyes and thought to himself.
He thought about Relena.

He smiled softly while rain started to fall on his face. "Thank you, God, for sending someone like Relena to this planet to make one more lost, confused soul happier."

The thought hit him. "B-by God." He stammered as it racked his mind. "I love her.....I really do." He was horrified and excited. Was the person who was trained to have no emotions, finally have one, if any? He couldn't believe it. He held his head in his hands and started to cry, naught from sadness, but from pure joy.

"Not once, when I was around her, did I even think of the inhumane things they did to me in my training." Memories flooded his mind. The first time Relena bandaged his arm, to when she held him in Maremaia's bunker. "She changed everything. Everything."

Heero jumped up and out his coat on. "I have to catch her before she leaves the conference." Heero ran back to the Forum. He burst inside, to find....

....Nothing. Heero looked around. The hall was empty. He ran down the hallway and out the back door. The parking lot was empty. The storm had reached the coast and started to strengthen. His eyes lost their glint as he vainly searched for one car. Finally, hopes dashed, he broke down in the centre of the lot, and screamed his rage, along with the storm.
