Lloyd Garmadon is now 16. and for the 4th time in his life he is scared out of his mind. Ever sence The Overlord took over he has been forcing kids between the ages of 13-18 to fight to the death in a Territory. Will Lloyd be choosen? Will his friends? Will Lloyd succed? OR will he crumble?

for the 4th time in my life now, I'm scared. It's time for the Color Reaping. "Hello everyone!" announced Angle Ames the caller for the Enterers. "I would like to now announce the Enterers for this years Dark Games! Sadly our projectors are beinng repaired, so we are not able to proceed the tradition of watching the history of our dazzling country. We will start this year with fire!

My heart almost stopped. I felt dizzy. Was this really happening? Why me? I walked up onto the stage. My hands were trembeling, then I looked at that Flame girl. i could see she was shocked that she was choosen also, but she had this look, a look like fire. Our eyes locked, and she gave me that firey look as she shook my hand.
