Day One
My whole body is burning.
It feels like my skin is separating itself from my muscles and those are separating themselves from my bones.
It feels like my body is on fire. But not only are the outer parts of my body burned, no the radiation makes my organs boil and burn at the same time.
The tears are floating my burned face.
I'm still vomiting blood, black blood, nightblood- my blood.
I'm screaming at the tops of my lungs for the pain to stop, I'm screaming at the tops of my lungs begging to survive.
"That's it. We are the sole survivors of the human race…
But getting to the bunker wasn't the hard part, no the hard part is to survive down here. In a few weeks, month or years every one of us will be desperate to go outside in to sure death, to feel free again.
The other part is that we need to work together otherwise we'll all die down here before the five year mark. We had our differences, we killed and betrayed on another multiple times. But that past is over now!
I know it's hard to forget the past and the pain BUT we cannot afford more death and pain.
When I said Skycrew won't take this bunker I meant in every single aspect. We are no longer twelve clans we are ONE clan. Woncrew! It's Unity day and in unity we must stand, live and survive. I want to unit out knowledge, wisdom, culture, politics, system…people.
As winner of the Conclave and acting Commander I dismiss all rules and law of our previous clans, for the sake of a new system.
In order to do that I need three people from each clan and I want two of the remaining 48 who been to Mount Weather.
Together we'll develop a new system for the bunker. We need to include everyone's opinion and culture in that system.
BUT make no mistake, the past IS over, the past commanders and rules are gone, the past laws are dismissed and the past sins are vanished. You better get used to those facts because if you are not able to live with that you won't ever be able to feel the sun on your face ever again."
"You're with me?"
"Always.", Raven answers me, "You ready or do you need one more minute?" she ask me carefully, while I can't get my eyes off the burning planet beneath us where she died on, not even two hours ago…STOP IT!
I gave myself a hard mentally Punch, I can mourn her in two months or so when we have enough food to survive.
"You need to use this here too" I suddenly heard her whisper and my heart stops a second.
I took a few deep breaths.
"No, I'm ready" and with that I turned my back towards the window, to stop being the heart and move forward to be the head.

I may or may not turn this story into a multiple chapter one, so the title might change, but i might leave it as a one shot.
I apologise for any grammar or spelling mistake, this is just my second fanfiction i wrote in english.
