Poor Dazzlings
The Dazzlings had just been defeated, and they were home at their apartment, Sonata was crying, Aria was punching her bed, and Adagio was just Silent.
Aria's anger was only to mask the sadness she was feeling, as was Adagio's silence.
And although it had been thousands of years since they had seen their mother, they recalled her clearly, but with the lose of their gems, they felt as if she was no longer with them.
Their mother Sirena, had been the first Siren, with the gems it felt as if she was around watching them. But without they felt all alone, no longer did they feel close to her.
And when they lost their gems a deep pain struck the Siren queen in her gem, and that gentle feeling of her sirens around her, but when that pain struck her...
No longer was their presence near to her, from the Sirens cave she felt ever so alone.
She wept many tears. The flow never seemed to end, not even pause.
Ponies near the summit of the mountain could most likely here her powerful cries of sorrow, the pain of a mother, only another mother knows.
Adagio turned the gem fragment around in her fingers, tears falling down her cheeks as she stared at them gem.
She felt bitter at herself, if her and her sisters had listened to their mother all those years ago they would never been banished to this horrid world, but because they disobeyed her...
Adagio shook her head to clear the memories from their past.
Sonata had remembered the same things and those made her sadness heighten, but she could not change the past, but part of her wished that she had never listened to Adagio, on both occasions, but she wanted to be a part of the group.
Aria's anger peaked as she hit her bed hard and fast, had it been a person they would have died about two hours ago. Maybe if she had stood up to Adagio, and told her that what they were doing was foolish, but she was the middle child, it did not matter what she thought... But if She Had Stopped Sonata from going with Adagio, maybe her and Sonata would not have ever been banished with Adagio.
Sirena tossed and turned in a restless sleep.
I flew swiftly back to the cave I called home, I had a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, something was not right.
I swiftly entered the cave looking around, I only saw two of my daughters, Aria and Sonata, looking around quickly trying to find Adagio, but to no avail.
"W-where is Adagio?!"
Both girls looked down guilty.
I turned to Aria and asked:
"WHERE IS SHE?!"
"She... She left to the pony town..." Aria said sadly.
"She... SHE WHAT?!"
I flew out of the cave towards the nearby towns, no where was there even a sign of Adagio.
Frantic at the last town, I twisted around midair and yelled:
"ADAGIO!?"
The Large Siren snapped awake, a fresh wave of tears burst to the surface, the thought of her daughters was painful to think about.
The Dazzlings slumber was not any better.
Adagio's tears refused to stop, none of the girls did.
But they hoped that with time they would get better.
If you would like the full story and this is not what happened, just a side what if, so I hope you enjoy Redwall might help on the real story.
But for now, this is the gist, and if you look at my avatar, that is what Sirena looks like, The picture just happened to fit, and I've had this in the old Idea cooker for a while.
