Future queen Kiara sat at the peak of priderock with a sad expression. Down below was Zuri, Tama's daughter and her cousin Kion who was her uncle and a lioness name Aria son. She knew that the brunt orange lioness liked the leader of the Lion Guard but so does she. Ever since he saved her from Janja when they were cubs. But what made Kiara really made her fall for the golden yellow lion was brave nature. She remembered a time Kion asked her to join him on one his missions, but then went back to playing with Zuri and her sister Tiffu like nothing happened. There's no doubt that she was in love with Kion but she knows that he won't feel the same. Kiara cast her orange eyes towards the sky to see the sun setting. With a heavy sigh Kiara stood and headed for the cave.

Kiara laid in her spot that was in the back of the den and away from her parents and sister. She watched her sister's mate, Kovu head into the den before closing her eyes.

She opened her eyes to see that she wasn't in the cave but in the plains. A loud roar erupted made her head turn as her eyes widened. "Kion!"

With a unimaginable amount of speed she took off towards the source. She jumped through some tall grasses to stop in her tracks. In the clearing surrounded by bodies was her handsome guard. Everything just turned red around her as the feelings that started bubbling up erupted into pain. She collapsed as she could no longer hold her body up. When her eyes opened once more, bloodshot and growing moist with tears.

"Great Kings and queens... Kion!"

Sobs broke from her throat when she realized he wasn't responding, no matter how she pushed or prodded, he did not move. The future queen pushed her face into his, quietly begging that he not do this to her.

"Please... Please get up! Don't leave me alone Kion..."

"Kiara."

The golden orange lioness blinked her orange eyes open to see a pair of light brown orbs looking at her with concern. She smiled as tears fell down her face as she embraced the golden yellow lion. "Kion! I thought I lost you!"

Kion nuzzled his friend before looking at the few months younger lioness. "I'm here. Why don't you tell me about your nightmare?"

Kiara thought about not saying anything but then thought about her dream and how it could come true. "I had a nightmare that you was gone...and I didn't get to tell you..."

Kion looked at the golden orange lioness before nuzzling her. "Tell me what?"

Kiara looked up with teary eyes. "That I love you and has been since we were cubs."

Kion's eyes widened before pushed his nose against Kiara's. "Oh Kia. I love you too, since the day we met."

Kiara couldn't believe it, the lion that she loved felt the same. But she was confused, "What about Zuri?"

Kion tilted his head before laughing lightly. "Zuri wanted my help. It turns out that she likes Vitani."

Kiara beamed at that before pouncing on Kion. "I love you so much."

Kion smiled and nuzzled Kiara lovingly. "I do too and which I can't wait." Kion took a deep breath before smiling lovingly at the lioness standing over him. "Will you marry me?"
