Summary: Maura (my OC) is beaten up by the other spirits and is late for a meeting. When she walks in will the other Guardians help her or yell at her…

I DO NOT OWN ROTG SADLY…..

To say that E. Aster Bunnymund was angry was an understatement. He was absolutely furious. Who he was furious at was easy to pinpoint. All the Guardians were sitting quietly at the meeting table heaving their own angry thoughts at the late Guardian.

Usually it would be Jack. Maybe 5-10 minutes late. He would swoop through the window and apologize saying that he had had to put snow on some continent.

But even the troublemaker hadn't ever been this late. Maura the Guardian of Happiness (also the spirit of Halloween and Autumn) was 2 hours late to the last meeting till Halloween.

Now Bunny could understand if she was a little flustered with her season and holiday coming up but she could at least make an effort to come a t least for a few minutes to the meeting.

Then the knock on the door came.

The Guardians looked at each other with surprise and concern.

Maura never used the door unless she was tired.

And that had only happened once much to Sandy's chagrin.

The Guardians slowly walked to the door until they stood in front of it.

North opened the door and with his big booming voice stared to rebuke her.

"Maura is customary that you come to meetings early next time. Da?"

As the Guardians watched she slowly dragged herself to the table.

"Maura I know it is very time-filling with your holiday coming up but-"Tooth started

Maura held up her hand.

Her pointy hat sat high on her head hiding her face.

Her long sleeved dress covered her arms.

'Stop spinning Tooth." Maura said in her quiet British accent

The Guardians froze.

Tooth had been standing there perfectly still.

Sandy made a question mark above his head.

The question was "Are you okay Maura?"

Maura tilted her face up.

"You never told me you had a twin, PookieBear." (PookieBear is what Maura calls Bunny)

Now they could see her face clearly.

Tooth gasped.

Maura's face was littered with bruises and cuts.

Maura stood up.

"Guys I feel a little-"Maura didn't get to finish.

She stopped talking and collapsed into the closest person's arms.
