Hello! It has been nearly three years since I last wrote here, so, well, goodness, I probably don't know any of you. Even though I'm neck-deep into college, I'm fairly interested in getting back into the swing of things over here. Writing practice and all that.
It's entirely plausible that this could end up being a series of drabbles. If that's the case, I'll keep it focused on Pokemon Special characters, if that influences your following decisions.

Mama Mightyena
The boy glanced up the stairs again. "She gonna be down here soon?"
"Oh, don't you worry," Ruby said, "Em's just letting me sweat you out. And, trust me when I say—"
"If I hurt her, Papa Poochyena'll never let me forget it?" The boy was smirking at Ruby.
"Who, city boy there? Please." The boy jumped as Sapphire appeared. "It'll be me after ya if you bother my girl."
"Always assuming I don't destroy you first," Emerald said, marching down the staircase.
Ruby and Sapphire grinned as Emerald dragged her date out the door. They loved date night.
As I said, it is but a drabble. If anyone feels like tossing prompts or critique at me, I'd be willing to consider them! As it stands, though, I hope you enjoyed this timeskipped chunk of Franticshipping fluff. Please, let me know what you think of it!
(My thought is that they named their daughter after canon Emerald. I don't get the sense that it's a gender-specific name.)
