That raven-haired young man was sitting alone in a ramen stall that late evening. Ramen wasn't his thing, but everyone else in that town seemed to be crazy about that stuff. Since everything was half-off that day, He ordered himself a large bowl with some pork and extra tomato slices. By the time he caught sight of the vegetables under the toppings, his stomach could barely hold down another mouthful. Then a blonde guy came under the flap to eat.
"Hi. Could I get a large bowl with extra pork on top?" The blonde pulled out his wallet, only to find that it came up short. "On second thought, maybe I'll just have a small bowl of dipping noodles," he said sheepishly.
"Sorry, I'm out of small bowls for today," the chef told him. "But you can have a free glass of soda. Would you like that?" The blonde sat down with a deep sigh, thanking the chef for the bubbly drink.
"Unlucky you. But at least you got a free soda," said the raven, making the blonde blush a little.
He took another sip of his soda. "Yeah, I guess that makes my day better." The blonde's blue eyes landed on the plentiful leftovers in the raven's bowl. But he turned his head when he thought he noticed.
"Are you still hungry? I haven't eaten much of mine yet." The raven pushed his bowl to him.
The blonde could only wince. "You're sharing with me?"
"If sharing is what you want, then okay. A hard day deserves a soft night."
The blonde snapped apart some chopsticks and gently dug in. The noodles were still kind of hot, and the pork-scented steam tickled his nose in the most heavenly way. Suddenly, the raven's appetite came back. The two were slurping noodles from the bowl as loud as they could. Then one salty, broth-laden slurp led to an unexpected meeting.
The two shared a noodle between their lips. The raven smirked at the blonde and slurped the noodle past his own lips, kissing the blonde when he reached his end.
"I'm Sasuke. Nice to meet you," he said to him with a smile.
The blonde turned the rosiest shade of red. "I'm Naruto. Thanks for the ramen."
