Now let us all send angry messages to my friend Fye, who is entirely to blame for this.
Reeling
Tsuna knows how ridiculous and childish and cowardly it is, really, but that awareness is not actually enough to make him stop.
He's in a carriage of the Ferris wheel with Yamamoto. Tsuna isn't sure how his friend had talked him into joining him on the ride, only that he did manage it and now Tsuna is filled with regret.
(It was a rare opportunity to go and the carnival only did only come to town once a year and when Yamamoto and Gokudera had both started talking about it and tried to convince Tsuna there was no way for him to resist to at least take a look.)
"Hey, are you okay there Tsuna?" Yamamoto asks him softly. He moves the arm he has slung around Tsuna's shoulders. His hand starts rubbing small circles on his back. It is kind of nice actually. Tsuna'd definitely be ecstatic if Kyoko were the one doing this and the thought of her (girls) knowing sends shivers down his spine. Because wouldn't any girl kill to be in his situation? Or more specifically, kill Tsuna?
He tries to suppress the shivers (it shouldn't be so hard) and to make an affirmative noise, yes, he's fine, of course, why are you asking, Yamamoto, you're so silly! However it's hard to convey that without words and when Tsuna makes some sort of mewing sound it probably lets him seem like a sick kitten instead.
It also doesn't help that Tsuna had buried his face in Yamamoto's shirt since they carriage had gotten above the height of two meters. He doesn't usually have a fear of heights. Especially not when he's in dying will mode, but. But something of the Ferris wheel makes it seem like he's completely out of control and-
And Tsuna hasn't actually bothered to at least try to remove himself from Yamamoto who must undoubtedly be getting annoyed with him. They might be back close to the ground now for all Tsuna knows, but he can't bring himself to check. Yamamoto smells nice and Tsuna wishes he hadn't noticed that because it makes him breathe in deep with every breath he takes.
Maybe he can blame it on the panic.
