Lina and Gourry walked arm in arm into the latest town in their travels in the Outerworld. It had been at least a good two months since the Dark Star incident. They flashed each other a quick smile as they walked. Gourry shifted his hold to her waist.
At the same time, an old beige clad friend was walking into the same town from the other end. He took a swig from his canteen, and as he lowered his head, he saw them. And out came the water as he coughed.
Lina noticed the odd man and recognized him on the spot. "Hey Zelgadis! Found any leads yet?"
"Choking like that can't be good for you Zel," Gourry joined in as they walked over to him.
"When did this happen?" Zelgadis asked incredulously.
"When did what happen?" they both asked at once, exchanging clueless looks.
"When did you finally admit your feelings for each other?" Zelgadis rephrased.
Lina and Gourry finally noticed he was referring to the matter in which they were walking. They exchanged looks. "We didn't," they told him, not tearing away their gaze from each other.
"Huh?" They sure had Zel confused.
Lina and Gourry laughed at his reaction. "We didn't have to."
Illisea- For those who are clueless, we are referring to the bond that Lina and Gourry share. That unspoken one. Also, Lina and Gourry were seen walking off into the distance at the end of Try during the song and we've been trying to find a non-awkward way to write a fic about it. This cute scene gets no attention when it comes to writing fan fics. IT DRIVES US INSANE!
Verity- Nope. It just drives her insane. It slightly bothers the rest of us. But it makes sense why it gets no attention. It's hard to work with. This is like attempt number five. Just popped into our heads and we had to get it down before it popped out.
Lizinzu- Thoughts people. We'd love to here them.(AKA REVIEW ASAP) By the way, after Slayers:Heart is finished, we're thinking of writing a sequel to this one.
